# Northstar Rescue 2026: what the demo does and doesn't mean

Many of you have asked about the demonstration we're preparing for the Nordic
Civil Protection Agency (NCPA) on 25 September 2026, so I want to set out
where things stand.

NCPA has invited us to demonstrate our approach as part of their Northstar
Rescue 2026 exercise planning. That is a genuine and welcome opportunity.
It is not a procurement. No procurement process has started, and we have not
sent NCPA a proposal or a price. Internally, teams across Sales, Product,
Security, and Delivery are working through a bounded go/no-go process to
decide what we can responsibly show and commit to for the demonstration
itself.

Until that internal work is finished and any customer process
begins, please don't speculate externally, including on social media or with
contacts outside the company, about whether we've "won" anything, what NCPA's
budget might be, or when a contract might follow. Speculation like that can
get ahead of the facts and make a good opportunity harder to manage well.

I'll share a further update once the go/no-go decision is made. Thank you for
