BERGEN, 10 February 2026. Skarv Marine AS has been awarded a contract to build two harbour tugs for a regional port authority, the shipbuilder announced today. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in late 2027.

The contract covers design, construction, and sea trials of two diesel-electric harbour tugs, each rated for coastal towing and firefighting support duties. Skarv Marine said the order strengthens its position in the Nordic harbour-vessel market.
