OSLO, 30 April 2026. Skarv Aerospace AS has completed the acquisition of Lyra Optics, a sensor technology company, the company announced today. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

"Lyra's sensor engineering expertise complements our ground control and platform business," said Nils Havre, Chief Executive Officer of Skarv Aerospace AS.

Skarv said the acquisition would strengthen its in-house sensor capability and support future development of payload options for its ground control and unmanned aircraft system product lines. Lyra Optics will continue to operate as a subsidiary of Skarv Aerospace, retaining its existing engineering team.

Skarv said the acquisition would not affect any existing customer contracts, including its supply relationship with Skagerrak Coastal Rescue Service, and that no changes to the Kestrel Ground Control Station product were planned as a direct result of the transaction.

About Skarv Aerospace AS: Based in Oslo, Skarv Aerospace AS develops ground control stations and related aerospace systems for Nordic defence and civil operators.
