BERGEN, 20 May 2026. Skagerrak Coastal Rescue Service has confirmed that the first Kestrel Ground Control Station units from its order with Skarv Aerospace AS have been delivered. Two of the six units ordered in January have arrived, with the remaining four expected by the end of the year.

Skagerrak Coastal Rescue said the two delivered units are undergoing installation and commissioning ahead of entering service, and that no operational date has yet been set. The service said the delivery schedule for the remaining four units remains on track for completion by year end.

Solveig Brandt, Director of Skagerrak Coastal Rescue Service, said: "The first two stations can now move through installation and commissioning. We expect the remaining units before the end of the year."

Skagerrak Coastal Rescue said the delivery does not change the terms of its January order with Skarv Aerospace and that no additional units have been ordered beyond the original six.
