# Kaarna begins HAWKEYE deliveries under the Arctic Mobility contract

OULU, 4 August 2026. Kaarna Defence Electronics Oy has begun deliveries of HAWKEYE Tactical Display units under its contract with the Nordic Defence Materiel Office, the company announced today. The first 20 displays have been delivered as part of the 140-unit Arctic Mobility contract signed in March.

Kaarna said the delivered units would be integrated into cold-climate mobility platforms under the Arctic Mobility programme, with further deliveries continuing in phases through to 2028 in line with the original contract schedule.

Dr Aino Kettunen, Chief Executive Officer of Kaarna Defence Electronics Oy, said: "The first 20 displays have been delivered, and production remains aligned with the schedule through 2028."

Kaarna said no changes had been made to the contract's pricing or delivery schedule since it was signed, and that the recruitment drive announced in June was supporting the ramp-up in production and integration work.
