# Fjordland issues prior information notice for 2027 operational-picture renewal

BERGEN, 1 September 2026. Fjordland Rescue Services has issued a prior information notice (PIN) signalling its intention to run a competitive procurement process for the renewal of its operational-picture capability from 2027. The notice indicates a competitive procedure planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Fjordland said the PIN is an early-stage market notice intended to inform potential suppliers ahead of a formal procurement process, and does not commit the organization to any particular outcome or supplier, including its current arrangement. Fjordland's Atlas-based common operational picture has been in use across all four regional centres since April 2026.

Henrik Lund, Director of Operations at Fjordland Rescue Services, said the notice gave potential suppliers early visibility of the renewal timeline ahead of the formal procurement process planned for the first quarter of 2027.

Fjordland said further procurement documentation would follow closer to the start of the competitive procedure and that no supplier has been pre-selected.
