OSLO, 12 November 2025. Skarv Aerospace AS and Fjordland Rescue Services have signed a memorandum of understanding to explore closer cooperation on unmanned aircraft system (UAS) support for search-and-rescue operations. The non-binding agreement sets out a framework for the two organizations to test how Skarv's Kestrel Ground Control Station could support Fjordland's UAS observation needs during live incidents.

Under the memorandum, the parties will hold joint workshops over the coming months to map operational requirements before any commercial discussion begins. No supply contract, pricing, or delivery schedule has been agreed, and either party may withdraw from the memorandum without penalty.

Nils Havre, Chief Executive Officer of Skarv Aerospace AS, described the agreement as "a practical way to explore how ground control capability can support civil rescue services, without committing either side to a particular outcome."

Skarv Aerospace and Fjordland Rescue Services said further updates would follow only once a formal proposal, if any, has been developed.
