Kaarna signs contract with NDMO to supply HAWKEYE tactical displays for Arctic Mobility

OULU, 19 March 2026. Kaarna Defence Electronics Oy has signed a contract with the Nordic Defence Materiel Office (NDMO) to supply HAWKEYE Tactical Display units for the Arctic Mobility programme, the company announced today. The contract is valued at EUR 18.4 million and covers 140 display units, with deliveries scheduled between 2026 and 2028.

The agreement follows Kaarna's selection as preferred supplier in December 2025 and represents the company's largest HAWKEYE contract to date. Kaarna said the displays will be integrated into cold-climate mobility platforms under the wider Arctic Mobility programme.

Dr Aino Kettunen, Chief Executive Officer of Kaarna Defence Electronics Oy, said: "This contract is the largest HAWKEYE award in our company's history, and it reflects years of close collaboration with NDMO on cold-climate display requirements. We are proud to support the Arctic Mobility programme through to 2028."

Kaarna said the first deliveries under the contract were expected later in the year, with the full 140 units to be delivered in phases through 2028.
