Northern Grid wins MAER framework agreement for GridView Command

HELSINKI, 8 April 2026. Northern Grid Systems Oy has been awarded a four-year framework agreement by the Municipal Alliance for Emergency Response (MAER) to supply its GridView Command common operational picture platform, the company announced today. The framework covers 12 municipalities participating in the alliance and has a value of up to EUR 3.2 million over its term.

The framework follows a competitive procurement process run by MAER during the first quarter of 2026. Northern Grid said GridView Command would be rolled out to participating municipalities' emergency coordination centres under call-off orders issued individually by each municipality.

Jussi Peltola, Chief Executive Officer of Northern Grid Systems Oy, said the company would work with each participating municipality as call-off orders were placed under the framework.

Northern Grid said the first call-off orders under the framework were expected during the second quarter of 2026, with no fixed schedule for a full roll-out across all 12 municipalities.
