A short checklist for everyone who starts in September 2026. Your manager adds the role-specific parts.
Day one
- Collect your laptop and Hub login from IT. Sami Rautio is your contact.
- Read the AI-tool policy before you use the assistant for anything involving company material.
- Read About GeoNordic and the organization overview. The people directory tells you who owns what; you will be added to it during your second week.
- Open your inbox. Your manager's welcome message lists your first tasks.
Week one
- Sit in on at least one customer or partner meeting with your manager or a delegate.
- If you are asked to help another team, ask that team's lead for the exact pages you should read. Do not work from memory or from a colleague's summary.
- Keep a running note of every claim you had to check against a source, and every place the assistant was wrong. Bring the note to your first check-in.
Weeks two and three
- Your manager sets your first own deliverable. For Business Development that is normally a market-monitoring task against the watch-list.
- Book a 30-minute check-in with People Operations (Hanna Solum) at the end of week three.
What "onboarding complete" means
Onboarding is complete when your manager has recorded it, not when the tasks on this page feel finished. Until then you are not scheduled for unsupervised customer-facing or demonstration duty; see the welcome post for Oskar Wen for how that is handled in practice.
